My journey with food has been all over the place. I used to just consume whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. As I got older, I realized my choices of food weren't of my unbiased freewill. I was being told to eat these things. I was being told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and that it should contain whole grain. I was being told that I should be cooking with vegetable oils and using hydrogenated butter replacements instead of actual butter. I was being taught how to rob my body of nutrients and all but ensure a chronic state of inflammation. As a child I learned how to be unhealthy. As a teen I paid for it. As an adult I vowed to fix it.
I've been a on a decade long mission to better myself through diet and now I'm adding the rest of you to that mission.
